for Silversmithing & Handmade Silver Cutlery Fine Silversmithing since 1791
Wakely and Wheeler
were a continuation of the spoon making company of Lias Brothers, which traces
it's roots back to 1791. Henry John Lias went into partnership with James Wakely
in 1879 for five years before retiring. At this point Frank Clarke Wheeler, a
former apprentice of Henry John Lias, became a partner. The company is still active today trading under the familiar Wakely & Wheeler name.
